春節（旧正月）の休暇中は、多くの人が観光や家族との面会のために海外旅行に出かけるが、疾管署は「最近、インフルエンザや麻疹、デング熱、チクングニア熱などの感染症流行が世界的に継続または激化しているため、海外渡航者は感染のリスクを認識せねばならない。
海外旅行前に、まず疾管署ウェブサイトの「海外旅行処方箋」セクションで、最新の国際的な流行情報と渡航先の渡航注意事項を確認できる。出発前に必要な予防接種を受け、薬を準備し、旅行中は各項の予防措置を実施し、帰国後は健康状態に留意して自分自身と家族の健康を確保せねばならない」と注意喚起している。
疾管署の監視データによると、世界的には、インフルエンザの流行はここ最近依然活発であり、日本や韓国などの近隣諸国では増加の傾向にある。
更に香港と中国では、比較的高い、或いは中程度の流行レベルとなっている；
新型のインフルエンザAは、昨年、中国やカンボジア、米国で感染症例が報告されたが、多くは鳥などの感受性動物との接触に関連していた。
麻疹に関しては、直近の2か月間、米国やカナダ、メキシコ、インド、インドネシア、ベトナムで症例が引き続き発生している。
世界におけるCOVID-19の陽性率は最近やや減少しているが、東南アジアでは増加している；近隣諸国である中国と日本では感染拡大が続いており、世界ではXFG変異株が主要流行株となっている。
もし、上記の国や地域への渡航を計画しているならば、まずワクチン接種の必要性を確認し、手指の衛生と咳エチケットを徹底し、換気の悪い人込みではマスク着用により呼吸器感染症の感染リスクを低減し、鳥や野生動物との接触を避けることが推奨される。

During the Lunar New Year holiday, many people travel abroad for tourism and family visits. The recent global epidemics of infectious diseases such as influenza, measles, dengue fever, and Chikungunya Fever have continued or intensified.
Before traveling abroad, people are advised to check the latest international epidemic information and travel precautions for their destination on the CDC website of “International Travel Prescription.” Complete necessary vaccinations and prepare medications before departure.
Implement all necessary preventative measures during the trip and monitor your health upon returning home to ensure the health of yourself and your family.
Data from CDC shows that recently, global influenza activity remains high with an upward trend in neighboring countries such as Japan and South Korea, while Hong Kong and China are at relatively high or moderate levels;
Human cases of novel influenza A were reported in China, Cambodia, and the United States last year, mostly linked to contact with birds or other susceptible animals.
Regarding measles, cases have continued to occur in the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam over the past two months.

CDC urges travelers that when enjoying local cuisine while traveling, pay attention to food hygiene. Cooked and hot foods are safer. Drinking bottled or boiled water and washing hands frequently with soap can reduce the risks of contracting foodborne infectious diseases such as cholera, acute hepatitis A, norovirus, and enteroviruses.

春節連假期間，民眾出國旅遊、探親交流頻繁，疾病管制署（下稱疾管署）呼籲，近期全球流感、麻疹、登革熱及屈公病等傳染病疫情持續或升溫，國際旅遊需留意感染風險，民眾出國前可先至疾管署網站「國際旅遊處方箋」查詢目的地最新國際疫情資訊及旅遊注意事項，於行前完成所需疫苗接種及備妥用藥，旅途中落實各項防疫措施及返國後留意自身健康狀況，以確保自身及家人健康。
疾管署監測資料顯示，全球近期流感活動度仍高，鄰近國家如日本及韓國呈上升趨勢，另香港及中國分處相對高點或中度流行；
新型A型流感於去年中國、柬埔寨及美國等國有通報人類感染病例，多與接觸禽鳥或其他易感動物有關。麻疹疫情方面，近2個月於美國、加拿大、墨西哥、印度、印尼及越南等國持續有病例發生。
