疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（3月25日）、「今年（2025年）台湾第2例となる腸病毒感染による重篤な合併症により死亡した症例が出た。患者は台湾北部で生まれた生後1か月未満の新生男児で、2月中旬に呼吸逼迫からNICUに入院し、3月中旬になり低血中酸素や徐脈、肝炎、血小板減少など敗血症の症状が相次ぎ現れ不幸にも3月17日に亡くなった；検査の結果、エコーウイルス11型感染症による重篤な病気と確認された」と発表。
疾管署の監視データによると、このところ腸病毒流行は低水準で上下動しているが、合併症を併発し重篤化する症例が相次ぎ報告されている；さらに、直近4週間の検査室モニタリングでは、腸病毒はコクサッキーA16型が主であり、コクサッキーA6型とエコーウイルス11型、複数タイプの他の腸病毒がこれに次ぐ；過去の流行監視データによると、例年、学校開始後の3～4月に流行が徐々に増加しており、その動向を注意深く監視せねばならない。今年は、腸病毒の確定症例が3例出ている（死者2例を含む）が、どちらもエコーウイルス11型への感染であり、うち2例が生後1か月未満の新生児であり、重症患者数は

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (March 25) the 2nd death case of enterovirus infection complicated by severe illness in Taiwan this year (2025). The newborn boy under 1 month old in the north Taiwan was admitted to the NICU due to respiratory distress in mid-Feb. In mid-March, symptoms of sepsis such as low blood oxygen, bradycardia, hepatitis, and low platelets began to appear. Unfortunately, he died on March 17. After examination and review, it was confirmed that he was suffering from severe complications of Ecovirus type 11 infection.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(25)日公布國內今(2025)年第2例腸病毒感染併發重症死亡病例，為北部未滿1個月新生男嬰，2月中旬因有呼吸窘迫情形收住兒童加護病房，3月中旬陸續出現血氧低、心搏過緩、肝炎、血小板下降等敗血症徵候，3月17日不幸死亡；經檢驗審查確認為伊科病毒11型感染併發重症。
疾管署監測資料顯示，近期腸病毒疫情處低點波動，惟持續有腸病毒感染併發重症病例通報；另近四週實驗室監測顯示腸病毒以克沙奇A16型為多，其次為克沙奇A6型及伊科病毒11型，與其他多型別腸病毒；依據往年
