中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本3月19日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例6例が確定診断されたが、夫々フィリピン（第1000、1001、1002号）、アメリカ（第1003号）、パラグアイ（第1004号）及びインドネシア（第1005号）からの症例であった」と発表。
指揮センターは、「第1000号患者は、30代のフィリピン籍男性で、2021年2月28日に就労のため来台、出国3日以内の陰性証明を保持していたが、入国後は防疫ホテルにて隔離を受けていたがその間中に症状は出ていなかった。 患者は、フィリピンにいた際、家族2人が現地で確診されたと自述しており、自主健康管理期間中の3月17日に会社が手配した自費検査で受けて本日確定診断された。 衛生単位が既に濃厚接触者計6人を特定しているが、うち2人は在宅隔離、4人は適切な防護を採っていたため、自主健康管理とされた。
指揮センターは、「第1001、1002号患者は、フィリピン籍の20代、30代出稼ぎ労働者の女性で、2021年3月4日に就労のため来台、二人とも出国3日以内の陰性証明を保持していたが、入国時に集中隔離センターにて隔離を受け、3月17日、隔離期間満了前の検査を受けて本日確定診断された。二人には入国後も症状はなく、隔離中に他人との接触もないため、濃厚接触者リストは作成していない」と発表している。

Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (19) that there are 6 new confirmed cases of imported COVID-19 in China, which entered the Philippines (Case 1000, 1001, 1002), the United States (Case 1003), Paraguay (Case 1004) and Indonesia (Case 1005).
The command center stated that the case 1000 is a 30-year-old male from the Philippines who came to work in Taiwan on February 28, 2021. He had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, he went to the epidemic prevention hotel for home quarantine. During the period, he was asymptomatic. The case reported that his family in the Philippines was diagnosed locally at the end of February. During the period of independent health management, the company arranged for self-financed examination on March 17th, and the diagnosis was confirmed today. The health unit has listed a total of 6 contacts, of which 2 are listed in home isolation, and 4 are listed for independent health management due to proper protection.
The command center pointed out that Cases 1001 and 1002 are female migrant workers in their 20s and 30s, all of whom are Filipino nationals. They came to work in Taiwan on March 4 this year. They all had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. They went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine after entering the country. They were quarantined before the expiration of the quarantine period on March 17, and they were diagnosed today. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(19)日公布國內新增6例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，分別自菲律賓(案1000、1001、1002)、美國(案1003)、巴拉圭(案1004)及印尼(案1005)入境。
指揮中心表示，案1000為菲律賓籍30多歲男性，今(2021)年2月28日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至防疫旅館居家檢疫，期間並無症狀。個案自述其在菲律賓之同住家人2月底於當地確診，自主健康管理期間由公司安排於3月17日進行自費採檢，於今日確診。衛生單位已匡列接觸者共6人，其中2人列居家隔離，4人因均著適當防護，列自主健康管理。
指揮中心指出，案1001、1002為20多歲及30多歲女性移工，均為菲律賓籍，今年3月4日來臺工作，皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至集中檢疫所檢疫，3月17日接受檢疫期滿前採檢，於今日確診。2名個案入境並無症狀，且檢疫期間未與他人接觸，故無匡列接觸者。
