2020年04月08日0時～24時までに、31省（自治区、直轄市）と新疆生産建設兵団が、新たに確診患者63例、うち海外からの輸入患者は61例、国内患者は2例（広東省2例）； 死亡者2例（湖北省2例＝全員武漢市）； 疑似症例17例、うち海外からの輸入症例16例、国内1例（黒竜江省1例）が増えたと報告。
当日、新たに増えた治癒退院患者は91例、当日医学観察を解除された濃厚接触者1,848例、重症症例は13例の減少を示した。

2 newly added death cases (2 in Hubei = Wuhan);
17 newly added suspected cases, of which 16 are imported from abroad, 1 in mainland (1 in Heilongjiang).
