台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「8月11日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が16例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例12例、輸入症例4例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに2例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例12例が増えた（うち5例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である：（宮本注：つまり、2週間或いは3週間を超えて感染が確認された事例が斯くも多く存在しているという情報を台湾政府が認めている！）が、10代から70代までの男性9人、女性3人であり、2021年8月2日から8月10日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、新北市が6例、次いで台北市4例、基隆市2例となっている； そのうち、7例の感染源は既に判明、3例は関連不明、2例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例2例中、第6581号は70代男性で、慢性疾患歴を有するが、関連するような活動歴はない。 5月21日に発熱や全身の倦怠感などが現れ、二日後には、意識レベルの悪化、喘ぎを感じ病院で検査と隔離治療を受けるが、5月27日に確定診断された。 6月19日に隔離解除となり退院するも7月8日に死亡した。 第13510号は慢性疾患歴を有するが関連するような活動歴はないという90代の男性。 6月14日に発熱や倦怠感などの症状が現れ、6月15日に病院で検査をうけ、6月16日に入院隔離治療となり、6月17日に確定診断され7月10日に死亡した」と発表。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 8月09日迄に発表された14,591例中、既に13,111人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の89.9％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Aug. 11 that there were 16 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 12 local cases and 4 imported cases from abroad. There were 2 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 12 local cases (of which 5 case was those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 9 males and 3 females, aged in their 10s and 70s, with onset dates between Aug 02 and August 10, 2021. The distribution of cases is 6 cases in New Taipei City, followed by Taipei City’s 4 cases, Keelung City’s 2 cases; Out of 12 local cases, 7 cases are known their sources of infection, 3 cases’ relation is unknown, 2 case is under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center explained that of the 2 new deaths today, the Case 6581 is a 70-year-old male with a history of chronic disease and no history of contact with related activities. He developed fever and general fatigue on May 21. He went to a doctor for examination and was hospitalized for isolation treatment due to changes in consciousness and wheezing the next day. He was diagnosed on May 27, released from quarantine on June 19, and died on July 8. The Case 13510 is a 90-year-old man with a history of chronic disease and no history of contact with related activities. He developed fever and fatigue on June 14. He went to a doctor for examination on June 15 and was hospitalized in isolation on June 16. He was diagnosed on June 17 and died on July 10.
The command center pointed out
that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,111 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,591 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to August 09. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 89.9% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(11)日公布國內新增16例COVID-19確定病例，分別為12例本土及4例境外移入；另確診個案中新增2例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之12例本土病例(其中5例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)，為9例男性、3例女性，年齡介於10多歲至70多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年8月2日至8月10日。個案分布為新北市6例、臺北市4例及基隆市2例；其中7例為已知感染源、3例關聯不明、2例疫調中，將持續進行疫情調查，以釐清感染源。
指揮中心說明，今日新增2例死亡個案中，案6581為70多歲男性，有慢性病史、無相關活動接觸史，5月21日出現發燒、全身倦怠症狀，隔日因意識改變、呼吸喘就醫採檢並住院隔離治療，5月27日確診，6月19日解隔離出院，7月8日死亡。案13510為90多歲男性，有慢性病史、無相關活動接觸史，6月14日出現發燒、疲倦症狀，6月15日就醫採檢，6月16日住院隔離治療，6月17日確診，7月10日死亡。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至8月9日累計公布14,591位確診個案中，已有13,111人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數89.9%。
