台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「8月15日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が9例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例2例、輸入症例7例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに0例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例2例が増えた（うち0例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である）が、いずれも40代の女性2人であり、いずれも無症状感染とされた。患者分布は、台北市、新北市で各1例となっている； そのうち、0例の感染源は既に判明、2例は関連不明、0例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 8月13日迄に発表された14,637例中、既に13,172人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の90.0％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Aug. 15 that there were 9 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 2 local cases and 7 imported cases from abroad. There were 0 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 2 local cases (of which 0 cases were those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 0 male and 2 females, aged in their 40s, but they are all asymptomatic cases. The distribution of cases is 1 case each in New Taipei City and Taipei City; Out of 2 local cases, 0 cases are known their sources of infection, 2 cases’ relation is unknown, 0 case is under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,172 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,637 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to August 13. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 90.0% of the confirmed cases.
The command center explained that today there are 7 new cases of overseas immigration, 3 males and 4 females, aged in their 20s to 40s, from the United States (Case 15956, 15957), South Korea (Case 15958), Poland. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(15)日公布國內新增9例COVID-19確定病例，分別為2例本土及7例境外移入；另確診個案中無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之2例本土病例(均非居家隔離期間陽性者)，均為40多歲女性，且均為無症狀感染。個案分布為臺北市1例、新北市1例；2例關聯不明，將持續進行疫情調查，以釐清感染源。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至8月13日累計公布14,637位確診個案中，已有13,172人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數90.0%。
