中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本4月05日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例1例（第1049号）が確定診断されたが、インドネシア籍の20代女性来台者だ。 出国前72時間以内のPCR検査陰性証明を保持して留学のため3月21日に来台して以降これまでに症状は無く、集中検疫所に隔離されていた。 患者は4月3日、衛生単位により手配された隔離期間満了前検査を受け、本日確診された（Ct値34、翌日の検査で陰性、IgM、IgG全て陽性）が、インドネシアで確診症例との接触があったと自術している。患者は、来台からこれまでに症状はなく、隔離期間中に他人との接触はなく、濃厚接触者リストは作られなかった（宮本注： 出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって3月21日に来台して16日目に陽性が判明した事例です）」と発表した。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on April 5 today that one new confirmed case of imported COVID-19 in China (Case 1049) was an Indonesian female in her 20s. She came to Taiwan to study on March 21, 2021, and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. She entered the country asymptomatic and went to the centralized quarantine station for isolation. When the health unit arranged for quarantine before the expiration date, she was diagnosed today (Ct value of 34, negative for IgM and IgG the next day), said she had been in contact with a confirmed person in Indonesia. Since the case entered the country and has no symptoms so far, and no contact with others during the quarantine period, no close contacts have been listed.
According to the statistics
of the command center, so far, there have been a total of 191,769 notifications related to novel coronavirus pneumonia in China (including 189,901 excluded cases). 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(5)日公布國內新增1例境外移入COVID-19確定病例(案1049)，為印尼籍20多歲女性，今(2021)年3月21日來臺就學，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境時無症狀，並至集中檢疫所進行檢疫，4月3日由衛生單位安排期滿前採檢，於今日確診(Ct值34，次日採檢陰性，IgM、IgG皆為陽性)，自述曾於當地接觸過確診者。因個案入境至今並無症狀，且檢疫期間未與他人接觸，故無匡列接觸者。
