台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、10月04日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が5例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例0例、輸入症例5例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たな死亡者は1例」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例5例は、20代から50代の男性4例、女性1例であり、9月20日から10月02日の間に インドネシア（3例：第16361号～16363号）、ベリーズ（第16364号）、及び米国（第16365号）から入境した。詳細は『☞ 20211004F 台湾新規増加輸入症例5名のリスト』を参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例1例（第15920号）は、70代の男性だが、慢性疾患歴および万華区での行動歴はあったものの関連の活動歴は無かった。 8月10日に別の理由で病院を受診し、入院治療を受けていた。 8月11日に確診されたが9月04日に隔離が解除されるも10月02日に別の原因で死亡した」と説明した。

Taiwan found 5 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, 0 domestic and 6 imported cases from abroad

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (October 04) that there were 5 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 0 local and 5 imported cases; further, there was 1 death.
The command center explained that today there are 5 new cases of immigration from abroad, 4 males and 1 female, aged in their 20s to 50s. They entered the country from Indonesia (3 cases, case 16361, case 16362, case 16363), Belize (case 16364) and the United States (case 16365). The entry date is between September 20 and October 2, today (2021) holding a negative test report within 3 days before their boarding; as for the details, please refer to the attached.
The command center stated that there was one new death case (case 15920) today. It was a 70-year-old man with a history of chronic disease and no history of contact with related activities. On August 10, he sought medical examination and was hospitalized for other reasons. He was diagnosed on August 11, released from isolation on September 4, and died on October 2 due to other reasons.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(4)日公布國內新增5例COVID-19確定病例，均為境外移入；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心說明，今日新增5例境外移入個案，為4例男性、1例女性，年齡介於20多歲至50多歲，分別自印尼(3例，案16361、案16362、案16363)、貝里斯(案16364)及美國(案16365)入境，入境日介於今(2021)年9月20日至10月2日，皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告；詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心表示，今日新增1例死亡個案(案15920)，為70多歲男性，具慢性病史，無相關活動接觸史，8月10日因其他原因就醫採檢並住院治療，8月11日確診，9月4日解除隔離，10月2日因其他原因死亡。
指揮中心統計，截至目前國內累計3,460,241例新型冠狀病毒肺炎相關通報(含3,442,726例排除)，其中16,255例確診，分別為1,620例境外移入，14,581例本土病例，36例敦睦艦隊、3例航空器感染、1例不明及14例調查中；另累計110例移除為空號。2020年起累計844例COVID-19死亡病例，其中832例本土，個案居住
