台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日12月16日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が12例増えたが、本土症例1例、輸入症例11例となっている；更に、確診症例中、死亡者0例が出た」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例（第16882号）は、台湾籍の80代女性だが、すでにアストラゼネカ製ワクチンを2度接種していた。 2021年12月15日に腹痛や発熱などの症状のため、病院を受診し検査を受けたところ本日確診された（Ct値39.9）。 血清検査ではNタンパク抗体陽性となり、古い症例と判断された。 現在、すでに接触者2人をリストアップ、在宅隔離としたが、その他の接触者をリストアップ中だ。 衛生単位は、現在、感染源を明らかにするために流行の調査と予防を行っている」とした。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例11例は、10代から50代の男性4例、女性7例であり、11月21日から12月14日の間に、出国前3日以内の陰性証明書を携え、米国（第16871号）、カンボジア（3例：第16872号、16878号、16879号）、フィリピン（2例：16873号、16876号）、英国（第16874号）、ベトナム（2例： 第16875号、16877号）、タイ（第16880号）、およびモンゴル（第16881号）から入境していた。詳細は『 ☞ 2021216F 台湾新規増加輸入症例11名のリスト 』を参照されたい」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (December 16) that there were 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 1 local and 11 imported cases; further, there was 1 death.
The command center explained that today, there is a new local case (case 16882), a Taiwanese female in her 80s. She has been vaccinated with 2 doses of AZ vaccine. She went to the doctor for abdominal pain, fever and other symptoms on December 15, 2021. She was diagnosed today (Ct value 39.9). The serum test was positive for N protein antibody, and the case was judged to be an old case. At present, 2 contacts have been listed, listed in home isolation, and the remaining contacts are listed. The health unit is now conducting epidemic investigation and prevention to clarify the source of infection.
The command center explained that today there are 11 new cases of immigration from abroad, consisting of 4 males and 7 females, aged in their 10s to 50s. They came from the United States (Case 16871), Cambodia (3 cases: Case 16872, 16878, 16879), Philippines (2 cases: Case 16873, 16876), United Kingdom (Case 16874), Vietnam (2 cases: Ca 16875, 16877) and Thailand (Case 16880), between November 21 and December 14; as for the details, please see attached.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(16)日公布國內新增12例COVID-19境外移入確定病例，分別為1例本土及11例境外移入；另確診個案中無新增死亡。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例本土病例(案16882)，為80多歲本國籍女性，已接種2劑AZ疫苗，今(2021)年12月15日因腹痛、發燒等症狀就醫並採檢，於今日確診( Ct值39.9)，血清檢驗N蛋白抗體陽性，研判為舊案。目前已匡列接觸者2人，列居家隔離，其餘接觸者匡列中。衛生單位刻正進行疫情調查及防治，以釐清感染源。
指揮中心表示，今日新增11例境外移入個案，為4例男性、7例女性，年齡介於10多歲至50多歲，分別自美國(案16871)、柬埔寨(3例，案16872、案16878、案16879)、菲律賓(2例，案16873、案16876)、英國(案16874)、越南(2例，案16875、案16877)、泰國(案16880)、蒙古(案16881)入境，入境日介於11月21日至12月14日，皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告；詳如新聞稿附件。
