台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「6月26日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が80例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例78例、うち34例は在宅隔離/隔離期間中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である（宮本注 つまり、2週間或いは3週間の隔離期間中或いは隔離終了後の検査で陽性化しているという情報を台湾政府が改めて公開しています）。 輸入症例2例となった；更に、確診症例中、新たに13例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例78例が増えたが、5歳未満から80代までの男性36人、女性42人であり、2021年6月11日～6月25日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、新北市が36例と最多で、次いで台北市の30例、桃園市、基隆市及び屏東県各3例、苗栗県、彰化県及び新竹県各1例となっている。 そのうち、台北市と新台北市の両地区以外の県・市の12例中、10例の感染源は既に判明、2例が関連不明、0例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例13例は、40代から90歳代の男性3例、女性2例となっているが、発症日については5月14日～6月20日、 確定診断日は5月19日～6月22日、死亡日は6月21日～6月24日となる。 詳細は☞ 20210626E 台湾新規増加死者13名のリストを参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 6月24日迄に発表された13,190例中、既に9,916人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の75.1％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Jun. 26 that there were 80 newly confirmed local cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 78 local cases (among them, 73 cases were those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) and two (2) imported cases from abroad. There were 13 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 78 local cases today are 36 males and 42 females, aged under 5 to in their 80s, with onset dates between June 11 and June 25, 2021. The distribution of cases is 36 cases in New Taipei City, followed by 30 cases in Taipei City, 3 cases each in Taoyuan City, Keelung City and Pingdong County, 1 case each in Miaoli County, Changhua County and Hsinchu County. Out of the 12 cases in counties and cities outside the Taipei and New Taipei area, 10 cases are known their sources of infection, 2 cases’ relation is unknown, 0 cases are under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center described,
the 13 new deaths reported today are, 8 males and 5 females, ranging in age from their 40s to 90s. The onset date is between May 14 and June 20, the date of diagnosis is between May 19 and June 22, the date of death is between June 21 and June 24; as for details, see the attachment.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 9,916 people have been released from quarantine, among 13,190 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to June 24. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 75.1% of the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that among the two newly added cases of overseas immigration today, the Case 14591 is a Taiwanese woman in her 30s who returned to Taiwan from Japan on June 11 with a negative test certificate within 3 days before the flight. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(26)日公布國內新增80例COVID-19確定病例，其中78例為本土個案(39例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)；另有2例境外移入。另，確診個案中新增13例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之78例本土病例，為36例男性、42例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至80多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年6月11日至6月25日。個案分佈以新北市36例最多，其次為臺北市30例、桃園市、基隆市及屏東縣各3例，苗栗縣、彰化縣及新竹縣各1例。其中雙北地區以外縣市12例中，10例為已知感染源、2例關聯不明；相關疫情調查持續進行中。

指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至6月24日累計公布13,190位確診個案中，已有9,916人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數75.1%。
