中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月27日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が405例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例401例及び、輸入症例4例となり、更にこれに本土症例先週各曜日の患者数に修正反映された266例が加えられて総計671例となった。 確診症例中、新たに13例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例401例が見つかったが、5歳未満から100歳代までの男性190人、女性211人で、2021年4月26日～5月26日に発症していた； 患者分布をみると、新北市が177例と最多で、これに、台北市の130例、桃園市の18例、基隆市15例、高雄市14例、彰化県10例、台中市7例、花蓮県6例、宜蘭県及び新竹県各5例、台東県4例、屏東県3例、嘉義市及び連江県各2例、苗栗県、南投県及び雲林県各1例が続く。
修正され各曜日に振り分け追加された266人の内訳は、5歳から90代までの男性140人、女性126人で、2021年5月15日～5月26日に発症していた； 患者分布をみると、新北市が146例と最多、次いで、台北市の101例、以下、宜蘭県5例、桃園市4例、彰化県及び台中市各3例、基隆市2例、嘉義市及び台南市1例が続く」としている。
