新疆ウィグル自治区衛生健康委員会は、2020年08月08日0時 ～ 24時の間に、新疆ウィグル自治区（生産建設兵団含む）では、 新たに確診症例15例（ウルムチ市15例）；無症状感染者0例（ウルムチ市0例）；治癒退院確診患者30例、医学観察解除された無症状感染者4例（ウルムチ市4例）； 重症から普通型に転換したもの2例、危篤から普通型に転じたもの1例が報告されたと発表した。
2020年08月08日24時時点で、新疆 （生産建設兵団を 含む）における現有確診患者数は625例（危篤10例、重症25例）その内訳は、ウルムチ市622例、カシュガル地区1例（ウルムチ市関連の症例1例）、昌吉回族自治州1例（ウルムチ市からの輸入症例）、生産建設兵団1例となり； 現有無症状感染者は123例、その内訳はウルムチ市122例、昌吉回族自治州1例（ウルムチ市からの輸入症例）；18,882人が今なお医学観察を受けている。

From 0:00 to 24:00, August 08, 2020, Health Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region announced that Xinjiang (including the Production and Construction Corps) reported 15 newly diagnosed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia; 0 newly added asymptomatic patients of which no one is from Urumqi; 30 newly cured and discharged cases, 4 asymptomatic patients are newly lifted from their medical observation of which all are from Urumqi City (9 in Urumuqi City); Two (2) serious cases were converted to normal type, one (1) critical case was converted to normal on the same day.
As of 24:00 on August 08, there are currently 625 diagnosed cases (10 critical cases, 25 severe cases), of which 622 cases are in Urumqi, 1 in Kashgar (1 related case with Urumqi City’s epidemic), and 1 in Changji Prefecture (imported case from Urumqi City), 1 in the Production and Construction Corps, in Xinjiang (including the Production and Construction Corps); Currently a total of 123 asymptomatic patients, of which 122 are in Urumqi, 1 in Changji Prefecture (imported from Urumqi); There are still 18,882 peoples who are under medical observation.

新疆卫生健康委最新通报，8月8日0时至24时，新疆维吾尔自治区（含新疆生产建设兵团）报告：新增新冠肺炎确诊病例15例，新增无症状感染者0例，均在乌鲁木齐市；新增治愈出院确诊病例30例，无症状感染者解除医学观察4例，均在乌鲁木齐市；重症转普通型2例，危重症转普通型1例。
