2023年7月28日、農業農村部は、国動物疾病予防管理センターからのチベット自治区那曲市（宮本注：ナクチュと読み、黒い河を意味するため、中文では黒河とも表記されます）で野鳥にH5N1型高病原性鳥インフルエンザが発生、チャガシラカモメなどの野鳥5,182羽が感染・病死（原文では『死亡』となっていますが、動物の場合、死亡ではなく病死とするのが相応と判断し、病気で死亡＝病死として訳出しています）したが、流行地区から3キロ以内に家禽養殖場は存在していないという報告を受領した。

On July 28, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center, that an outbreak of H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza in wild birds occurred in Naqu City, Tibet Autonomous Region. 5,182 wild brown-headed gulls and other wild birds were infected and died. There were no poultry farmers within 3 kilometers of the epidemic site.
