疾病管制署は本日9月19日、先週新たにデング熱の死者3名を発表したが、いずれも70代の男性で、うち2名には基礎疾患があったが、発症後5日以内に症状悪化により死亡したと発表した。衛生単位は既に患者の居住地および活動地域で関連予防・管理作業を完了すると同時に地元住民への衛生教育宣伝を強化している。

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention announced today (September 19) three new local dengue fever deaths last week, all of which were men in their 70s. Two of them had underlying diseases and unfortunately passed away due to worsening of their condition within 5 days of onset. The health unit has completed relevant prevention and control work in the case’s residence and activity areas, and has strengthened health education propaganda to the local people.
