疾病管制署は、本日10月31日、CDC統計に基づき、2023年10月24日から10月30日の間に、台湾では新たにデング熱の本土症例1,533人が新たに増えたが、患者居住地は台南市（1,233人）、高雄市（184例）、雲林県（45例）、屏東県（36例）、嘉義県（13例）、新北市（6例）、台中市および嘉義市（各4例）、宜蘭県および台北市（各2例）、桃園市、新竹市、彰化県及び澎湖県（各1例）となっており； 年齢では10歳未満から90歳以上まで、うち男性が819例、女性が714例、発症日は10月08日から10月30日まで、また、重症者9例、死亡者7例が新たに本土で増えた。死亡した症例は60代から90代、男性3名、女性4名となっているが、全員に慢性疾患があり、発症後2～21日以内に病状が悪化し不幸にも死亡

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention stated today (Oct. 31) that according to statistics from the CDC, there were 1,533 new local cases of dengue fever from October 24 to October 30 this year (2023). The cases were located in Tainan City (1,233 cases), Kaohsiung City (184 cases), Yunlin County (45 cases), Pingtung County (36 cases), Chiayi County (13 cases), New Taipei City (6 cases), Taichung City and Chiayi City (4 cases each), Yilan County and Taipei City (2 cases each), Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Changhua County and Penghu County (1 case each); the age ranges from under 10 to over 90 years old, among them, 819 were male and 714 were female, with onset dates between October 08 and October 30. There were 9 new local severe cases and 7 deaths. The deceased cases ranged in age from their 60s to 90s. They were 3 men and 4 women. They all had underlying medical conditions and unfortunately passed
