浦東新区の李国華副区長は、9日午前、浦東新区人民医院発熱外来が新型コロナウィルス肺炎疑い例1例を報告、市疾病管理センターによる再検査でPCR検査の結果は陽性となったこと、 臨床症状や画像および実験室でのPCR検査の結果を総合して、新型コロナウィルス肺炎の確診症例と診断したとした。
情報では、患者は、51歳男性の王XXさん。 11月8日13時45分に、発熱や鼻づまり、だるさなどの症状により自ら電動自転車で浦東新区人民医院の発熱外来を受診したという。 患者の自己申告によると、4月8日から浦東（国際）空港西区にある航空会社の貨物ターミナルで働いており、これまで上海を離れてはいず、発症前に新型コロナウィルス感染者との接触歴はなく、過去3ヶ月間、他の医療機関における病歴もないということだ。

The reporter learned in the press conference on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in Shanghai on November 9 that there was a newly diagnosed case of local novel coronavirus pneumonia in Shanghai.
Li Guohua, Deputy District Governor of Pudong New Area, said that on the morning of the 9th, the Pudong New District People’s Hospital reported a suspected case of novel coronavirus pneumonia in its fever clinic. After reviewed by the Municipal Center for Disease Control, the nucleic acid test result was positive. 浦东新区副区长李国华表示，9日早，浦东新区人民医院发热门诊报告一例疑似新冠肺炎病例，经市疾控中心复核，核酸检测结果为阳性。结合临床、影像学表现和实验室核酸检测结果，诊断为新冠肺炎确诊病例。
据介绍，病例王某某，男，51岁，11月8日13点45分因发热、鼻塞、乏力等症状，独自骑电动自行车至浦东新区人民医院发热门诊就诊。该病例自述，自4月8日起在浦东机场西区航司货运站从事搬运工作，至今未曾离沪，发病前无新冠病毒感染者接触史，近3个月内无其他医疗机构就诊史。
目前，该病例的26名密切接触者已全部完成首次核酸检测，结果均为阴性。已排查到密接的密接181人中，
