10月09日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、遼寧省鞍山市でアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が 集団発生したと発表した。
10月08日、農業農村部は、中国動物疾病予防管理センターから、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、遼寧省動物疾病予防管理センターから検査に送付されたサンプルをASFと確定診断したとの報告を受け取った。陽性反応を示したサンプルは鞍山市台安県のある養豚場からのものだ。当該養豚家にいたブタ460頭のうち160頭が発症、160頭が病死していた。

On October 09, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that African Swine Fever epidemic occurred in Anshan City of Liaoning Province.
On October 8, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center. The samples submitted by the Liaoning Provincial Center for Animal Disease Control and Prevention were diagnosed as African swine fever by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Institute of Animal Diseases and Diseases). The positive samples were sent from a farmer in Tai’an County, Anshan City. The farmer had 460 pigs, 160 got sick and 160 died among them.

农业农村部新闻办公室10月9日发布，辽宁省鞍山市发生生猪非洲猪瘟疫情。
10月8日，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，辽宁省动物疫病预防控制中心送检样品经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心（国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊为非洲猪瘟。阳性样品来自鞍山市台安县一养殖户，该养殖户存栏生猪460头、发病160头、死亡160头。
