台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日12月23日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は19,073例（うち本土症例18,965例、輸入症例108例）；更に、確診症例中、40例の死亡者が出た」と発表。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Dec. 23) that there were 19,073 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 18,965 local and 108 imported cases; further, there were 40 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 18965 local cases today are 8550 males and 10394 females, (21 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is as follows: New Taipei City (3850 cases), Taichung City (2451 cases), Taoyuan City (2230 cases), Taipei City (2125 cases), Kaohsiung City (2003 cases), Tainan City (1558 cases), Changhua County (810 cases), Hsinchu County (645 cases), Hsinchu City (563 cases), Miaoli County (389 cases), Pingtung County (381 cases), Yunlin County (374 cases), Chiayi County (260 cases), Nantou County (251 cases), Yilan County (238 cases), Keelung City (232 cases), Hualien County (202 cases), Chiayi City (148 cases), Taitung County (103 cases), Jinmen County (80 cases), Penghu County (65 cases), Lianjiang County (7 cases).
