台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日8月05日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は21,869例（うち本土症例21,577例、輸入症例292例）；更に、確診症例中、54例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例21577例は、5歳未満から90歳以上の男性9944例、女性11610例、性別調査中23例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（4007例）、台中市（2623例）、台北市（2351例）、桃園市（2280例）、高雄市（2034例）、台南市（1683例）、彰化県（990例）、苗栗県（615例）、新竹県（605例）、屏東県（584例）、雲林県（545例）、新竹市（509例）、宜蘭県（484例）、花蓮県（416例）、南投県（377例）、嘉義県（361例）、基隆市（330例）、嘉義市（267例）、台東県（227例）、金門県（144例）、澎湖県（135例）、連江県（10例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Aug 05) that there were 21,869 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 21,577 local and 292 imported cases; further, there were 54 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 21577 local cases today are 9944 males and 11610 females, (23 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (4007 cases), Taichung City (2623 cases), Taipei City (2351 cases), Taoyuan City (2280 cases), Kaohsiung City (2034 cases), Tainan City (1683 cases), Changhua County (990 cases), Miaoli County (615 cases), Hsinchu County (605 cases), Pingtung County (584 cases), Yunlin County (545 cases), Hsinchu City (509 cases), Yilan County (484 cases), Hualien County (416 cases), Nantou County (377 cases), Chiayi County (361 cases), Keelung City (330 cases), Chiayi City (267 cases), Taitung County (227 cases), Jinmen County (144 cases), Penghu County (135 cases), Lianjiang County (10 cases).

指揮中心表示，今日新增之21,577例本土病例，9,944例男性，11,610例女性，23例調查中；年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲以上；個案分布為新北市4,007例，臺中市2,623例，臺北市2,351例，桃園市2,280例，高雄市2,034例，臺南市1,683例，彰化縣990例，苗栗縣615例，新竹縣605例，屏東縣584例，雲林縣545例，新竹市509例，宜蘭縣484例，花蓮縣416例，南投縣377例，嘉義縣361例，基隆市330例，嘉義市267例，臺東縣227例，金門縣144例，澎湖縣135例，連江縣10例。
