台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日01月12日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は22,937例（うち本土症例22,653例、輸入症例284例）；更に、確診症例中、48例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例22,653例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性10,193例、女性12,447例、性別調査中13例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（4,676例）、台中市（2,917例）、高雄市（2,707例）、桃園市（2,520例）、台北市（2,485例）、台南市（1,797例）、彰化県（875例）、新竹県（678例）、苗栗県（591例）、新竹市（572例）、屏東県（507例）、雲林県（423例）、基隆市（361例）、南投県（326例）、宜蘭県（323例）、嘉義県（319例）、嘉義市（181例）、花蓮県（157例）、台東県（97例）、金門県（88例）、澎湖県（49例）、連江県（4例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例は、本土の48例で、20代から90代以上の男性24人、女性22人となる。全員が重症患者で、44例に慢性疾患が有り、36例（75％）は三回以上のワクチン未完了者

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Jan. 12) that there were 22,937 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 22,653 local and 284 imported cases; further, there were 46 deaths.
