台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月24日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は26,357例（うち本土症例26,336例、輸入症例21例）；更に、確診症例中、62例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例26,336例は、5歳未満から90代の男性12,359例、女性13,962例、性別調査中15例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（4,717例）、台中市（3,465例）、高雄市（3,009例）、桃園市（2,958例）、台北市（2,474例）、台南市（2,196例）、彰化県（1,464例）、屏東県（753例）、新竹県（699例）、雲林県（649例）、新竹市（590例）、苗栗県（548例）、南投県（525例）、嘉義県（461例）、宜蘭県（427例）、基隆市（374例）、嘉義市（347例）、花蓮県（337例）、台東県（132例）、金門県（115例）、澎湖県（92例）、連江県（4例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例は、本土症例62例で、30代から90代以上の男性42人、女性23人となる。全員が重症患者であり、60例に慢性疾患が有り、42例は三回のワクチン未完了（68％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 24) that there were 26,357 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 26,336 local and 21 imported cases; further, there were 62 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 26336 local cases today are 12359 males and 13962 females, (15 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (4717 cases), Taichung City (3465 cases), Kaohsiung City (3009 cases), Taoyuan City (2958 cases), Taipei City (2474 cases), Tainan City (2196 cases), Changhua County (1464 cases), Pingtung County (753 cases), Hsinchu County (699 cases), Yunlin County (649 cases), Hsinchu City (590 cases), Miaoli County (548 cases), Nantou County (525 cases), Chiayi County (461 cases), Yilan County (427 cases), Keelung City (374 cases), Chiayi City (347 cases), Hualien County (337 cases), Taitung County (132 cases), Jinmen County (115 cases), Penghu County (92 cases), Lianjiang County (4 cases).
