台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月16日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は41,541例（うち本土症例41,481例、輸入症例60例）；更に、確診症例中、65例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例41,481例は、5歳未満から90代の男性19,064例、女性22,405例、性別調査中12例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（7,887例）、台中市（5,340例）、高雄市（4,709例）、桃園市（4,216例）、台北市（4,145例）、台南市（3,453例）、彰化県（2,134例）、屏東県（1,346例）、新竹県（1,025例）、雲林県（1,024例）、新竹市（927例）、苗栗県（871例）、宜蘭県（807例）、嘉義県（799例）、南投県（684例）、基隆市（610例）、花蓮県（496例）、嘉義市（464例）、台東県（241例）、金門県（157例）、澎湖県（135例）、連江県（11例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 16) that there were 41,541 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 41,481 local and 60 imported cases; further, there were 65 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 41481 local cases today are 19064 males and 22405 females, (12 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (7887 cases), Taichung City (5340 cases), Kaohsiung City (4709 cases), Taoyuan City (4216 cases), Taipei City (4145 cases), Tainan City (3453 cases), Changhua County (2134 cases), Pingtung County (1346 cases), Hsinchu County (1025 cases), Yunlin County (1024 cases), Hsinchu City (927 cases), Miaoli County (871 cases), Yilan County (807 cases), Chiayi County (799 cases), Nantou County (684 cases), Keelung City (610 cases), Hualien County (496 cases), Chiayi City (464 cases), Taitung County (241 cases), Jinmen County (157 cases), Penghu County (135 cases), Lianjiang County (11 cases).
