台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月09日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は44,565例（うち本土症例44,457例、輸入症例106例）；更に、確診症例中、62例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例44,457例は、5歳未満から90代の男性20,487例、女性23,951例、性別調査中19例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（8,730例）、台中市（5,379例）、桃園市（4,888例）、台北市（4,580例）、高雄市（4,487例）、台南市（3,238例）、彰化県（2,363例）、屏東県（1,229例）、新竹県（1,193例）、宜蘭県（1,183例）、雲林県（1,112例）、苗栗県（1,076例）、新竹市（1,048例）、嘉義県（773例）、基隆市（751例）、南投県（663例）、花蓮県（617例）、嘉義市（456例）、台東県（335例）、金門県（203例）、澎湖県（141例）、連江県（12例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例62例は本土症例で、30代から90代の男性27人、女性35人となる。全員が重症患者であり、58例が慢性疾患を有しており、44例は三回のワクチン未完了（71％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 09) that there were 44,565 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 44,457 local and 108 imported cases; further, there were 62 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 44457 local cases today are 20487 males and 23951 females, (19 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (8730 cases), Taichung City (5379 cases), Taoyuan City (4888 cases), Taipei City (4580 cases), Kaohsiung City (4487 cases), Tainan City (3238 cases), Changhua County (2363 cases), Pingtung County (1229 cases), Hsinchu County (1193 cases), Yilan County (1183 cases), Yunlin County (1112 cases), Miaoli County (1076 cases), Hsinchu City (1048 cases), Chiayi County (773 cases), Keelung City (751 cases), Nantou County (663 cases), Hualien County (617 cases), Chiayi

指揮中心表示，今日新增之44,457例本土病例，為20,487例男性、23,951例女性、19例調查中，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲以上，個案分布為新北市(8,730例)，臺中市(5,379例)，桃園市(4,888例)，臺北市(4,580例)，高雄市(4,487例)，臺南市(3,238例)，彰化縣(2,363例)，屏東縣(1,229例)，新竹縣(1,193例)，宜蘭縣(1,183例)，雲林縣(1,112例)，苗栗縣(1,076例)，新竹市(1,048例)，嘉義縣(773例)，基隆市(751例)，南投縣(663例)，花蓮縣(617例)，嘉義市(456例)，臺東縣(335例)，金門縣(203例)，澎湖縣(141例)，連江縣(12例)。
