台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日5月19日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は90378例（うち本土症例90331、輸入症例47例：41例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、59例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例90331例は、5歳未満から90代の男性43597例、女性46682例、性別調査中52!!例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（24826例）、桃園市（13827例）、台北市（12060例）、台中市（7444例）、高雄市（6576例）、台南市（4795例）、新竹県（2702例）、基隆市（2530例）、彰化県（2313例）、宜蘭県（2144例）、屏東県（2142例）、新竹市（1877例）、苗栗県（1513例）、花蓮県（1345例）、雲林県（1048例）、南投県（1026例）、台東県（692例）、嘉義県（664例）、嘉義市（462例）、澎湖県（186例）、金門県（137例）、および連江県（22例）。関連の調査が進行中である」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (May 19) that there were 90,378 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 90,331 local and 47 imported cases (41 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there were 59 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 90331 local cases today are 43597 males and 46682 females, (52 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and 90s. The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (24826 cases), Taoyuan City (13827 cases), Taipei City (12060 cases), Taichung City (7444 cases), Kaohsiung City (6576 cases), Tainan City (4795 cases), Hsinchu County (2702 cases), Keelung City (2530 cases), Changhua County (2313 cases), Yilan County (2144 cases), Pingtung County (2142 cases), Hsinchu City (1877 cases), Miaoli County (1513 cases), Hualien County (1345 cases), Yunlin County (1048 cases), Nantou County (1026 cases), Taitung County (692 cases), Chiayi County (664 cases), Chiayi City (462 cases), Penghu County (186 cases), Jinmen County (137 cases), Lianjiang County (22 case). The related epidemic investigation is ongoing.
The command center pointed out that there were 59 new local deaths today. They were 32 males and 27 females, aged in their 30s to 90s, all of them were severe infections where 58 had chronical diseases, 31 had not been vaccinated.
