台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「6月12日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が251例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例250例、輸入症例1例となった。 確診症例中、新たに26例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例250例が増えたが、5歳未満から100歳代までの男性116人、女性134人であり、2021年5月28日～6月11日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、新北市が133例と最多で、次いで台北市の65例、基隆市16例、桃園市13例、苗栗県9例、花蓮県3例、宜蘭県、新竹市、彰化県及び台中市各2例、高雄市、雲林県、新竹県各1例となっている。そのうち、台北市と新台北市の両地区以外の県・市の52例中、45例の感染源は既に判明、7例が関連不明となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例26例は、40代から100歳代の男性17例、女性9例となっているが、発症日については5月15日～6月9日、 確定診断日は5月18日～6月11日、死亡日は、6月4日～6月11日となる。 詳細は☞ 20210612E 台湾新規増加死者26名のリストを参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「新たに増えた輸入症例 第12698号は40代の台湾籍女性だが、彼女は出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、5月30日に中国から帰台した。帰台後は、防疫ホテルで在宅隔離していたのだが6月9日に発熱などの症状が現れ、6月10日に衛生単位の手配により検査が行われ、本日確定診断された（宮本注： 訪問先が不明ながら、中国から陰性証明をもって台湾に戻るも入国後11日目に症状があらわれ、13日目に確診されたことになります）」と指摘した。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Jun. 12 that there were 251 newly confirmed local cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 250 local cases and one (1) imported cases from abroad. There were 26 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 250 local cases today are 116 males and 134 females, aged under 5 to in their 100s, with onset dates between May 28 and June 11, 2021. The distribution of cases is 133 cases in New Taipei City, followed by65 cases in Taipei City, 16 cases in Keelung City, 13 cases in Taoyuan City, 9 cases in Miaoli County, 3 cases in Hualian County, 2 cases each in Yilan County, Xinzhu City, Changhua County and Taizhong City, 1 case each in Kaohsiung City, Yunlin County, Xinzhu County. Out of the 52 cases in counties and cities outside the Taipei and New Taipei area, 45 cases are known their sources of infection, 7 cases of unknown relation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center described, the 26 new deaths reported today are, 17 males and 9 females, ranging in age from their 40s to 100s. The onset date is between May 15 and June 9, the date of diagnosis is between May 18 and June 11, the date of death is between June 4 and Jun. 11; as for details, see the attachment.
The command center pointed out that today there is a new case of overseas immigration (Case 12698), a female in her 40s who returned to Taiwan from China on May 30 having a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, she went to the quarantine hotel for home isolation. She developed fever and other symptoms on June 9. The health unit arranged for inspection on June 10 and was diagnosed today.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(12)日公布國內新增251例COVID-19確定病例，分別為250例本土及1例境外移入；另確診個案中新增26例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之250例本土病例，為116例男性、134例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至100多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年5月28日至6月11日。個案分佈以新北市133例最多，其次為臺北市65例，基隆市16例，桃園市13例，苗栗縣9例，花蓮縣3例，宜蘭縣、新竹市、彰化縣及臺中市各2例，高雄市、雲林縣、新竹縣各1例。其中雙北地區以外縣市52例中，45例為已知感染源，7例關聯不明。相關疫情調查持續進行中。
指揮中心說明，今日新增26例死亡個案，共計為男性17位、女性9位，年齡介於40多歲至100多歲，發病日介於5月15日至6月9日，確診日介於5月18日至6月11日，死亡日介於6月4日至6月11日，詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心指出，今日新增1例境外移入個案(案12698)，為本國籍40多歲女性，5月30日自中國返臺，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至檢疫旅館進行居家檢疫，於6月9日出現發燒等症狀，6月10日由衛生單位安排採檢送驗，於今日確診。
