中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月26日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が302例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例302例及び、輸入症例2例となり、この他に本土症例331例が先週各曜日の患者数に修正反映され総計635例となった。 確診症例中、新たに11例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例302例が見つかったが、5歳未満から90代までの男性158人、女性144人で、2021年5月8日～5月25日に発症していた： 患者分布をみると、新北市が152例と最多で、これに、台北市の87例、桃園市の21例、基隆市13例、台中市9例、新竹県4例、屏東県、雲林県、台南市、宜蘭県、高雄市及び彰化県各2例、花蓮県、嘉義市、台東県及び連江県各1例が続く。
修正され各曜日に振り分け追加された331人の内訳は、5歳から90代までの男性160人、女性171人で、、2021年5月13日～5月25日に発症していた； 患者分布をみると、台北市が221例と最多、次いで、新北市の102例、以下、桃園市3例、基隆市及び台中市2例、苗栗県の1例が続く。上述患者中、萬華活動歴関連209例、茶芸館関連35例、某社会団体関連3例、その他感染源が既に判明したもの170例、関連が不明なもの122例、感染源調査中94例となっている。 関連の調査は今なお進められている。」と発表した。

Among the 331 corrected regression cases, 160 were males and 171 were females. 指揮中心表示，今日新增之302例本土病例，為158例男性，144例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年5月8日至5月25日；個案分布以新北市152例最多，其次為臺北市87例，桃園市21例，基隆市13例，臺中市9例，新竹縣4例，屏東縣、雲林縣、臺南市、宜蘭縣、高雄市及彰化縣各2例，花蓮縣、嘉義市、臺東縣及連江縣各1例。
