中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月13日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例12例が確定診断されたが、フィリピン（第1233～ 1236号）、インド（第1239～1244号）及びウガンダ（第1237号）からの輸入症例だ」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1233～1236号は、フィリピン籍の20代出稼ぎ労働者だが、彼らは出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月20日に就労のため来台した。彼らは、来台後集中検疫所で隔離され、5月3日の隔離期間満了前検査では陰性であった。 4人は、隔離期間満了後は企業手配の宿舎で自主健康管理を行っていたが、業務上の必要性から、5月11日に病院に行き自費検査を受けたところ、本日確定診断された（Ct値はそれぞれ34、30、30及び34）。 4名には、来台後無症状だったが、41人の濃厚接触者リストが作成されており、うち2人は在宅隔離に、39人は自己健康観察にされた」と指摘している（宮本注： 出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月20日に来台し、隔離期間、自主健康管理期間満了後に自費検査を受けたところ、入国後24日目にして確定診断されたということです）。
指揮センターは、「第1238号は、フィリピン籍の30代女性であり、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持ち、2021年4月28日に就労のため来台した。来台後は、集中検疫所で隔離され、5月11日に隔離期間満了前検査をしたところ本日確定診断された（Ct値31）。患者は、来台後無症状であり、隔離期間中に他人との接触はなかったため接触者リストは作成していない」としている（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月28日に来台し、翌日に検査を受け、入国後16日目にして確定診断されたということです）。

May 13, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that there were 12 newly confirmed cases of imported COVID-19 in Taiwan, from the Philippines (Case 1233 to Case 1236, Case 1238), India (Case 1239 to Case 1244) and Uganda (Case 1237).
The command center pointed out that
the cases 1233 to 1236 are all Filipino male migrant workers in their 20s who came to work in Taiwan on April 20, 2021, and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, they went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine, and the quarantine results were negative before the expiration of the quarantine period on May 3. After the expiration of the quarantine period, the company arranged a dormitory for their independent health management for 4 people. Due to work needs, they went to the hospital for inspection at their own expense on May 11, and the diagnosis was made today (Ct values are 34, 30, 30 and 34 respectively). 4 people were asymptomatic during their stay in Taiwan, and 41 contacts have been listed, 2 of them are listed for home isolation, and 39 are listed for self-health monitoring.
The command center said,
the case 1238 is a Filipino female in her 30s who came to work in Taiwan on April 28 this year holding a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering Taiwan, she went to the centralized quarantine station for isolation, and was inspected before the expiration of the quarantine period on May 11, and the diagnosis was confirmed today (Ct value 31). The case did not have symptoms while in Taiwan, and did not come into contact with others during the quarantine period, so no contacts were listed.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(13)日公布國內新增12例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，自菲律賓(案1233至案1236、案1238)、印度(案1239至案1244)及烏干達(案1237)入境。
指揮中心指出，案1233至案1236皆為菲律賓籍20餘歲男性移工，今(2021)年4月20日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告、入境後至集中檢疫所檢疫，5月3日檢疫期滿前採檢結果為陰性。4人檢疫期滿後由公司安排至宿舍自主健康管理，因工作需要，5月11日至醫院自費採檢，於今日確診(Ct值分別為34、30、30與34)。4人在臺期間並無症狀，已匡列接觸者41人，其中2人列居家隔離，39人列自我健康監測。
指揮中心表示，案1238為菲律賓籍30餘歲女性，今年4月28日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告、入境後至集中檢疫所檢疫，5月11日進行檢疫期滿前採檢，於今日確診(Ct值31)。個案在臺期間並無症狀，檢疫期間未與他人接觸，故無匡列接觸者。
指揮中心說明，案1239至案1244為5名本國籍與1名印度籍，為5男1女，年齡介於20多歲至30多歲，
