国家 衛生健康委は 02月24日、 2021年 01月度の 全国法定伝染病情報を 発布した。
2021年01月 （2021年01月01日00：00 ～ 01月31日 24：00）内の、全国（台湾香港マカオは含まず、以下同）の法定伝染病例は521,141例（宮本注： 前月は542,172例； 21,031人減に転）、死亡者数は1,476例（前月は2,279例； 903人減に転）であった。。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では、発症・死亡ともにゼロ。
B（乙）類伝染病はSARS、ポリオ、ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザ、ジフテリアとH7N9型鳥インフルエンザで発症・死亡なし以外、残22種については、発症250,601例 （前月は264,109例： 13,508人減）、死亡1,473例（前月は2,377例： 904人減に転）が報告されている。報告されている発病データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、肺結核、梅毒、淋病とエイズ（2か月連続で同病種・同順位）で、B類伝染病報告総数の95%を占めていた。

2021年01月01日から01月31日24時までの間、全国で新型コロナウィルス肺炎患者2,493例、死者2例が報告された。
同期、C（丙）類伝染病では、フィラリア症では発症・死亡ともにゼロだったが、その他10種の伝染病では、発症数は270,540例（前月は278,063例で7,523人減）、死亡は3例（前月は2例で1人減に転）であった。 発症データの3位までの病種は、その他感染性下痢、手足口病、とインフルエンザ（3か月連続で同じ病種だが2位と1位が入れ替わりました）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の96％を占めていた。

In January 2021 (0:00 on January 1, 2021 to 24:00 on January 31), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 521,141 cases and 1,476 deaths..

In Class A infectious diseases, no incidents and no deaths are reported.
There was no report of incidence and morbidity in SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), poliomyelitis, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza diphtheria and H7N9 Avian influenza, the remaining 22 kinds of Class B infectious diseases reported a total of 250,601 cases and 1,473 deaths. The top five reported cases were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and AIDS; these five diseases account for 95% of the total number of reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
From 00:00 on January 1 to 24:00 on January 31, a total of 2,493 diagnosed cases and two (2) deaths of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) were reported in Mainland China.

2021年1月（2021年1月1日0时至1月31日24时），全国（不含香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区，下同）共报告法定传染病521141例，死亡1476人。
其中，甲类传染病无发病死亡报告。乙类传染病中传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告，其余22种乙类传染病共报告发病250601例，报告死亡1473人。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、肺结核、梅毒、淋病以及艾滋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的95%。1月1日0时至1月31日24时，全国报告新型冠状病毒肺炎确诊病例2493例，报告死亡病例2例。
同期，丙类传染病中丝虫病无发病、死亡报告，其余10种丙类传染病共报告发病270540例，报告死亡3
