2022年04月 （2022年04月01日00：00 ～ 04月30日 24：00）内の、全国（台湾香港マカオは含まず、以下同）の法定伝染病例は481,403例（宮本注： 前月は634,258例； 152,855人減に転）、死亡者数は2,200例（前月は2,036例； 164人増）であった。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では、発症・死亡いずれもゼロとの報告があった。
B（乙）類伝染病はSARS、ポリオ、ジフテリアとH7N9型鳥インフルエンザで死亡なし以外、残23種については、発症311,106例 （前月は332,134例： 21,028人減に転）、死亡2,200例（前月は2,034例： 166人増）が報告されている。報告されている発病データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、COVID-19、肺結核、梅毒と淋病（COVID-19が2位に躍り出ました）で、B類伝染病報告総数の94%を占めていた。

2022年04月01日から04月30日24時までの間、全国で新型コロナウィルス肺炎患者65,484例、死者422例が報告された。
同期、C（丙）類伝染病では、発症数は170,297例（前月は302,123例で131,826人減に転）、死亡は0例（前月は2例で2人減）であった。 発症データの3位までの病種は、その他感染性下痢、手足口病とインフルエンザ（4か月連続で同病種ながら、その他感染性下痢症がトップに、インフルエンザが3位になっています）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の92％を占めていた。

In April 2021 (0:00 on April 1, 2021 to 24:00 on April 30), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 481,403 cases and 2,200 deaths.

2022年4月（2022年4月1日0时至4月30日24时），全国（不含香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区，下同）共报告法定传染病481403例，死亡2200人。
其中，甲类传染病无发病死亡病例报告。乙类传染病中传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告，其余23种乙类传染病共报告发病311106例，报告死亡2200人。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、新型冠状病毒肺炎、肺结核、梅毒以及淋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的94%。4月1日0时至4月30日24时，全国报告新型冠状病毒肺炎确诊病例65484例，死亡422人。
同期，丙类传染病共报告发病170297例，未报告死亡病例。报告发病数居前3位的病种依次为其他感染
