就民政总署昨天（12日）对来自珠海的一批留置活鸡样本中检验发现带有H7型禽流感病毒，基於公共利益的考量，民政总署已迅速采取一系列措施，於3月13日凌晨对存留在批发市场的大约7500只活家禽进行扑杀，同时对环境进行彻底消毒，并封锁批发市场活家禽批发楼层，亦对本澳各街市进行清洁消毒，目前对批发、屠宰及零售等场所之清洗及消毒工作已经完成，并参考世界动物卫生组织的指引，从3月13日起暂停本澳活家禽买卖交易21天，以保障市民大众的健康。
