On December 11, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Center for Animal Disease Control and Prevention, that a highly pathogenic avian influenza virus outbreak (H5N1) of wild birds reported in the wild mudflat of Tantou Town, Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, and 7 wild birds such as wild Eurasian Wigeons died of the disease after confirmed by the National Avian Influenza Reference Laboratory. 12月11日，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，经国家禽流感参考实验室确诊，福建省福州市长乐区潭头镇野外滩涂发生一起野禽H5N1亚型高致病性禽流感疫情，发病死亡野生赤颈鸭等野禽7只。疫情发生后，当地立即按照有关应急预案要求进行规范处置，并对周边家禽开展监测排查，未发现家禽异常
