疾病管制署（以下、CDC）は本日（4月2日）、今年（2024年）台湾2例目の百日咳確診症例が確定診断されたと発表。患者は生後3か月の女児で、3月上旬に咳や鼻水が現れ、その後、発熱や食欲の低下、嘔吐、激しい咳の後のチアノーゼが現れたために病院を受診し治療を受け、検査結果の報告を受け3月26日に確定診断されたが、容体が安定したため3月24日に退院している。同居家族は3人だが、2人から疑い症状が現れ、全員が検査と予防薬の評価を受け、4月15日まで健康観察される予定だ。
CDC の監視データによると、台湾では今年（2024年）、百日咳症例計2例が確認されているが、2019年から2023年における同時期の百日咳患者数は各14例、4例、0例、0例、0例で、年間累計患者数は0例から32例で、そのほとんどが生後3か月未満の嬰児であり（51%）、20歳以上のケース （36%）がこれに

The Department of Disease Control (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) announced today (April 2) the second confirmed case of pertussis in Taiwan this year (2024). The patient is a 3-month-old baby girl in the middle. She developed cough and runny nose in early March. Later, she developed fever, loss of appetite, vomiting, and cyanosis of her lips after severe coughing, so she sought medical treatment, the patient was diagnosed on March 26 after being notified by the test.
