疾病管制署は本日（2月28日）、30代男性の麻疹感染が新たに確認されたと発表したが、彼は北部の某病院の医療スタッフで、以前に入院していた職員の健康診断では麻疹抗体が発見されず、当該病院は彼をMMRワクチン接種必要な人物としてリストに含めていたが、まだ彼の追加接種は完了していなかった。2月13日に病院勤務中に、2月19日発表の本土感染者（北部出身の30代男性、初発症例）と接触したが、初発症例の麻疹感染が確認されたことで既に衛生単位により接触者リストに組み入れられ、病院が追跡をしていたが、後にその後、2月24日になってめまいを感じるようになり、2月26日には咳や紅疹が現れる

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention announced today (February 28) a new confirmed case of measles in a man in his 30s, he is a medical staff member of a hospital in the north, and during the physical examination of previously admitted employees, he was found to have no measles antibodies. The hospital listed him as a person who needs to be vaccinated with the MMR vaccine but he has not yet completed the vaccination. While working in the hospital on February 13, he came into contact with the local case announced on February 19 (male in his 30s from the north, index case). 疾病管制署今(28)日公布新增1例30多歲男性麻疹確定病例，為北部某醫院醫護人員，先前入院員工體檢時發現無麻疹抗體，為該院列為須補種MMR疫苗者但尚未完成補接種。2月13日於醫院工作時接觸2月19日發布之本土個案(北部30餘歲男性，指標個案)，因指標個案確診麻疹已被衛生單位匡列為接觸者由醫院追蹤，後續於2月24日開始出現頭暈、並於26日出現咳嗽、紅疹但無發燒，27日由醫院通報確診，目前居家隔離中。
疾管署表示，針對群聚事件，衛生單位已展開各項防治工作，並持續進行相關疫調，亦針對與個案接觸之醫護
