疾病予防管理センター（以下CDC）は、8月15日、台湾で3月20日に新制度が導入されて以後、直近7日間（8月09日～ 8月15日）の本土コロナ確診症例（合併症）の日々平均は、本土症例60例となり、前の週の7日間（8月02日～ 8月08日）の日々74例から19％の下降； 5月からの本土合併症患者の累計は17,969例となり、うち8,923例（約50％）がワクチン接種3回未満だが、そのうち6,306例（約71％）が1度も接種をうけていなかった。先週（8月06日～ 8月12日）は1日あたり14例が死亡したが前の週（7月30日～ 8月05日）の日々死亡者平均18例から22%の下降を示すも観察は継続してゆかねばならない；新たに増えた死者中、74％に慢性疾患歴があり、61％は3回のワクチン接種未完了者、94％が60歳以
