The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) announced today (June 06) that since the implementation of the new system on Mar. 20 in Taiwan, an average of 244 local confirmed cases (complications) of COVID-19 were added every day last week (May 31- June 06), which shows an increase of 17% compared with the daily average of 208 cases in the previous week (May 24- May 30). Since May, a total of 6,612 cases of local complications have been accumulated, of which 3,267 cases (about 49%) have not received three doses of vaccines, and 2,290 cases (about 70%) have not received any doses of vaccines.
