農業農村部の5月8日発表によれば：
04月25日、寧夏回族自治区固原市原州区の某採卵用ニワトリの養殖家で鳥インフルエンザを疑う症状が発生、3,000羽が発病、2210羽が病死した。
05月01日、寧夏回族自治区動物疾病予防管理センターが鳥インフルエンザ疑いと診断。
05月07日、国家鳥インフルエンザ参考実験室が、これをH7N9インフルエンザと確定診断した。
インフルエンザ発生後、現地では関連対応プランと予防治療技術規範の要求に基づき、法に基づく予防管理や、科学的予防管理の方針を堅持し、適切にインフルエンザ処置活動を行っており、既に86,000羽の殺処分と無害化処理を行っている。

インフルエンザ発生後、直ちに13,578羽の殺処分と無害化処理が行われた。

On April 25, there were suspected avian flu symptoms in laying hens raised by a farmer in Yuanzhou District of Guyuan City in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with a disease incidence of 3000 and 2210 deaths.
On May 1, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region’s Animal Disease Control and Prevention Center diagnosed the case as suspected avian flu.
May 7, this was confirmed by the national reference laboratory of avian flu, the outbreak was H7N9 influenza outbreak.
After this, the local authorities in accordance with the requirements on the relevant prevention/control plans and technical requirements, developed law-based prevention/control, scientific prevention/control effectively.
They have already culled 86,000 hens and made them harmless. At present, the avian flu is effectively controlled.

疫情发生后，当地按照有关预案和防治技术规范要求，切实做好疫情处置工作，已扑杀和无害化处理86000只家禽。目前，该起疫情已得到有效控制。
