疾病管制署今(23)日表示，國內腸病毒進入流行期，且近期疫情快速上升，疾管署提醒，腸病毒傳染力強，請民眾提高警覺，大人、小孩皆應確實做好手部衛生，並落實環境消毒，且應時常清洗消毒幼兒常接觸的物品及玩具；家中嬰幼兒如感染腸病毒，應在家休息並避免與其他嬰幼兒接觸，以降低交叉感染的機會，並請留意嬰幼兒健康狀況，一旦出現重症前兆病徵應儘速送醫治療，以掌握治療黃金時間。
依據疾管署監測資料顯示，上週(4月14日至4月20日)腸病毒門急診就診計11,643人次， 較前一週(9,518人次)上升22.3%，已達流行閾值(11,000人次) ，研判國內進入腸病毒流行期且近期疫情呈快速上升趨勢；另實驗室監測
