台湾でのCOVID-19流行は安定した低水準にあり、中央感染症指揮センターは3月28日、新たに人中等症・重症患者137例と死者14例が出たと発表、この死亡者数は、2022年12月27日以来3か月ぶりの低水準となっている。明日（3月29日）から、指揮センターは日々の症例数を発表せず、毎週木曜日の記者会見で週ごとの統計を発表することになった。
