農業農村部公式サイトによれば、農業農村部 新聞弁公室は 11月15日、河北省黄岡市浠水県でアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『AFS』）が発生したと発表した。
11月15日10時、農業農村部は、中国動物疾病予防管理センターから、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）による確診を経て、湖北省黄岡市浠水県の養豚場でAFSが発生したとの報告を受け取った。当該養豚場には636頭の豚が飼育されていたが、24頭が発症、13頭が病死した。
