10月14日、農業農村部 新聞弁公室は、遼寧省鞍山市でアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』: 鞍山市での発生は3度目）が また検出されたと発表した。
10月14日、農業農村部は、中国動物衛生疫学センター （国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、遼寧省動物疾病予防管理センターから検査に送付されたサンプルをASFと確定診断したとの中国動物疾病予防管理センター報告を受け取った。 陽性反応を示したサンプルは鞍山市台安県桑林鎮のある養豚場からのもので、当該養豚家にいたブタ180頭のうち14頭が発症、14頭が病死していた。

On October 14, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that African Swine Fever was detected again in Anshan City of Liaoning Province. (Miyamoto’s note: This is the third time outbreaks in Anshan City!)
At 10:00 on October 14, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center. The samples submitted by the Liaoning Provincial Center for Animal Disease Control and Prevention were diagnosed as African swine fever by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Disease Research). The positive sample came from a farm in Sanglin Town of Tai’an County, Anshan City. The farm had 180 pigs in total, of which 14 pigs got sick and 14 died.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to the site. 农业农村部新闻办公室10月14日发布，辽宁省鞍山市再次排查出生猪非洲猪瘟疫情。
10月14日，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，辽宁省动物疫病预防控制中心送检样品经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心（国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊为非洲猪瘟。阳性样品来自鞍山市台安县桑林镇一养殖户，该养殖户存栏生猪180头、发病14头、死亡14头。
