中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本4月24日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例6例が確定診断されたが、夫々フィリピン（第1093号、1094号、1098号）、インド（第1095号）及びインドネシア（第1096、1097号）からの来台者であった」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1093号患者は、フィリピン籍の20代男性で、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持参して2021年3月17日に就労のため来台、来台後は、集中検疫所で隔離されていたが、期間中の症状もなく、期間満了後の検査でも陰性であった； 患者は、確診された出稼ぎ労働者（第1054号）と一緒に4月7日に在宅隔離をしていたが、4月11日に隔離解除後は自主健康管理をしていたが、業務上の必要性から4月22日に企業手配により病院で自費検査を受けたところ本日確定診断された（Ct値30、二度目のPCR検査陰性、血清抗体IgM陰性、IgG陽性）。既に患者の濃厚接触者6人が把握されており、うち1人は在宅隔離、4人は自主健康管理とされたが1人は既に出国している」（宮本注： つまり、陰性証明書をもって3月17日に来台した人が、既に（4月9日確定診断）陽性判定された出稼ぎ労働者と在宅隔離をし、彼の隔離期間満了後に自費検査を受けたところ入国後39日目に確定診断されたことになります）」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1094号患者は、台湾籍の70代男性で、長期間フィリピンに居住していたが、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明を持参して2021年4月8日、就労のため来台。 来台後は防疫ホテルで隔離を受けていたが4月19日、不機嫌で食欲がないなどの状況から衛生局が病院を手配、発熱も気道感染症に関する症状もなく、検査をせずにホテルに戻して隔離を継続していた。4月21日、患者が朝食を受け取らなかったため、ホテル従業員が心拍停止状態でいた患者を発見、法医による検査で本日確定診断された（Ct値27）。患者は、在宅隔離期間及び診察時の濃厚接触者は適切な防護を採っていたことから濃厚接触者リストは作成していない（つまり、陰性証明をもって4月8日に来台したが、隔離期間中に死亡、法医の検査により入国後17日目で確定診断されたことになります）」と指摘している。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (24) that 6 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 imported from abroad have entered the Philippines (Case 1093, 1094, 1098), India (Case 1095) and Indonesia (Case 1096, 1097).
The command center stated that
Case 1093 was a Filipino male in his 20s who came to work in Taiwan on March 17, 2021 and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, he went to the centralized quarantine station for isolation. Since he entered Taiwan, he was asymptomatic and the test was negative after the expiry date; The case has been isolated at home with an already diagnosed migrant worker on April 7 (case 1054) together. After being lifted on April 11, he underwent independent health management. Due to work needs, he was arranged by the company to the hospital on April 22 for inspection at his own expense and was diagnosed today (Ct value 30, negative for second nucleic acid sampling, negative for serum antibody IgM, positive for IgG). 6 people have been in contact with the case, of which 1 person is listed as home isolation, 4 persons are listed as independent health management, and 1 person has left the country already.

Case 1094 is a 70-year-old male who has lived in the Philippines for a long time. He came to Taiwan on April 8 this year and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, he went to the epidemic prevention hotel for quarantine. On April 19, due to his poor mood and lack of appetite, he was arranged by the Health Bureau for medical treatment. As he had no fever and respiratory-related symptoms, he did not undergo quarantine and returned to the hotel to continue the quarantine. On April 21, because the case did not receive breakfast, the hotel staff found that the case had no heartbeat, and the forensic examination was confirmed today (Ct value 27). All contacts of the case during home quarantine and medical treatment were properly protected, so no contacts were listed.

新增6例境外移入COVID-19病例，自菲律賓、印度及印尼入境

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(24)日公布國內新增6例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，分別自菲律賓(案1093、1094、1098)、印度(案1095)及印尼(案1096、1097)入境。
指揮中心表示，案1093為菲律賓籍20多歲男性，今(2021)年3月17日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至集中檢疫所進行檢疫，期間並無症狀及期滿採檢為陰性；個案於4月7日因同行移工確診(案1054)進行居家隔離，於4月11日解除後進行自主健康管理，因工作需要，4月22日由公司安排至醫院自費採檢並於今日確診(Ct值30，核酸二採陰性，血清抗體IgM陰性、IgG陽性)。已掌握個案接觸者6人，其中1人列居家隔離，4人列自主健康管理，1人已出境。
指揮中心指出，案1094為本國籍70多歲男性，長期居住菲律賓，並於今年4月8日來臺，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至防疫旅館進行檢疫，4月19日因心情不佳無食慾等狀況，由衛生局安排就醫，因無發燒及呼吸道相關症狀，故無採檢並返回旅館繼續檢疫，4月21日因個案未領早餐，旅館人員發現個案已無心跳，經法醫採檢於今日確診(Ct值27)。個案居家檢疫期間及就醫時接觸者皆有適當防護，故無匡列接觸者。
