台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日12月28日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は28,168例（うち本土症例27,942例、輸入症例226例）；更に、確診症例中、25例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例27,942例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性12,740例、女性15,190例、性別調査中12例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（5,657例）、台中市（3,600例）、桃園市（3,252例）、台北市（3,211例）、高雄市（2,712例）、台南市（2,323例）、彰化県（1,324例）、新竹県（1,089例）、新竹市（924例）、苗栗県（668例）、屏東県（506例）、雲林県（484例）、基隆市（361例）、宜蘭県（353例）、嘉義県（345例）、南投県（343例）、嘉義市（248例）、花蓮県（229例）、台東県（130例）、金門県（128例）、澎湖県（52例）、連江県（3例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Dec. 28) that there were 28,168 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 27,942 local and 226 imported cases; further, there were 25 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 27942 local cases today are 12740 males and 15190 females, (12 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is as follows: New Taipei City (5657 cases), Taichung City (3600 cases), Taoyuan City (3252 cases), Taipei City (3211 cases), Kaohsiung City (2712 cases), Tainan City (2323 cases), Changhua County (1324 cases), Hsinchu County (1089 cases), Hsinchu City (924 cases), Miaoli County (668 cases), Pingtung County (506 cases), Yunlin County (484 cases), Keelung City (361 cases), Yilan County (353 cases), Chiayi County (345 cases), Nantou County (343 cases), Chiayi City (248 cases), Hualien County (229 cases), Taitung County (130 cases), Jinmen County (128 cases), Penghu County (52 cases), Lianjiang County (3 cases).
