台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月18日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は44,884例（うち本土症例44,846例、輸入症例38例）；更に、確診症例中、33例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例44,846例は、5歳未満から90代の男性20,919例、女性23,908例、性別調査中19例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（7,920例）、台中市（5,835例）、高雄市（5,375例）、台北市（4,504例）、台南市（3,902例）、桃園市（3,893例）、彰化県（2,587例）、屏東県（1,551例）、雲林県（1,163例）、新竹県（1,036例）、苗栗県（996例）、嘉義県（972例）、宜蘭県（861例）、南投県（849例）、新竹市（836例）、嘉義市（671例）、基隆市（633例）、花蓮県（587例）、台東県（320例）、金門県（185例）、澎湖県（141例）、連江県（29例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 18) that there were 44,884 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 44,846 local and 38 imported cases; further, there were 33 deaths.

指揮中心表示，今日新增之44,846例本土病例，為20,919例男性、23,908例女性、19例調查中，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲以上，個案分布為新北市(7,920例)，臺中市(5,835例)，高雄市(5,375例)，臺北市(4,504例)，臺南市(3,902例)，桃園市(3,893例)，彰化縣(2,587例)，屏東縣(1,551例)，雲林縣(1,163例)，新竹縣(1,036例)，苗栗縣(996例)，嘉義縣(972例)，宜蘭縣(861例)，南投縣(849例)，新竹市(836例)，嘉義市(671例)，基隆市(633例)，花蓮縣(587例)，臺東縣(320例)，金門縣(185例)，澎湖縣(141例)，連江縣(29例)。
