台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月06日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は46,484例（うち本土症例46,423例、輸入症例61例）；更に、確診症例中、57例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例46,423例は、5歳未満から90代の男性21,156例、女性25,245例、性別調査中22例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（9,281例）、台中市（5,867例）、台北市（5,201例）、桃園市（4,963例）、高雄市（4,485例）、台南市（3,421例）、彰化県（2,391例）、屏東県（1,232例）、新竹県（1,195例）、苗栗県（1,148例）、宜蘭県（1,126例）、雲林県（1,055例）、新竹市（913例）、基隆市（844例）、嘉義県（796例）、南投県（748例）、花蓮県（614例）、嘉義市（463例）、台東県（365例）、金門県（146例）、澎湖県（145例）、連江県（24例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例57例は本土症例で、5歳未満から90代の男性38人、女性19人となる。全員が重症患者であり、53例が慢性疾患を有しており、47例は三回のワクチン未完了（82％）であった。彼らは9月01日から10月03日の間に確診され、9月08日から10月03日の間に死亡

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 06) that there were 46,484 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 46,423 local and 61 imported cases; further, there were 57 deaths.

指揮中心表示，今日新增之46,423例本土病例，為21,156例男性、25,245例女性、22例調查中，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲以上，個案分布為新北市(9,281例)，臺中市(5,867例)，臺北市(5,201例)，桃園市(4,963例)，高雄市(4,485例)，臺南市(3,421例)，彰化縣(2,391例)，屏東縣(1,232例)，新竹縣(1,195例)，苗栗縣(1,148例)，宜蘭縣(1,126例)，雲林縣(1,055例)，新竹市(913例)，基隆市(844例)，嘉義縣(796例)，南投縣(748例)，花蓮縣(614例)，嘉義市(463例)，臺東縣(365例)，金門縣(146例)，澎湖縣(145例)，連江縣(24例)。
