中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月22日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が323例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例321例及び、輸入症例2例（第3462号、3867号）になった。 更に、本土症例400例が、先週各曜日の患者数に修正反映され、確診症例中新たに2例（第3097号、3553号）が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに321人の国内症例が見つかったが、5歳から90代までの男性162人、女性159人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月10日～5月21日であった。 修正され各曜日に追加された400人の内訳は、5歳から90代までの男性185人、女性215人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月7日～5月20日であった。上述の患者分布をみると、新北市が384例と最多だが、うち板橋区で103例が最多だ。これに、台北市の269例（最多は萬華区の174例）が続き、桃園市20例、台中市11例、基隆市9例、屏東県5例、彰化県及び高雄市各4例、宜蘭県、新竹市及び花蓮県各3例、新竹県2例、台南市と苗栗県、南投県、雲林県各1例となっている。 このうち、萬華活動歴関連258例、茶芸館関連100例、某社会団体関連4例、果物屋台商人関連3例、関連が不明なもの121例、感染源調査中155例となっている。 関連調査が今もなお進められている。」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「新たに増えた死亡例中、第3097号は80代男性で、5月19日夜、咳や発熱、穀油困難及び前進の倦怠感などの症状が出て病院に送られたが5月20日に死亡、検査の結果本日確定診断された。 家族の話では、患者は萬華区での行動歴はなく、確診症例にも接触していないという。
第3553号は70代男性だが、これまでに確診症例との接触があった。 彼は5月18日に衛生単位により在宅隔離者としてリスト化されたが、5月19日に病院で検査を受けていたが、衛生単位が電話をした際には症状はないと答えていたが、5月21日に患者が心肺停止状態にあることを家人が発見、当日死亡宣告が

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (22) that there are 323 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China today, 321 local cases and 2 overseas immigration cases (Case 3462, Case 3867). Further, 400 local cases were corrected and returned to cases on each day of last week. There were 2 new deaths among the confirmed cases (Case 3097, Case 3553).
The command center said,
the 321 newly-added local cases today are 162 males and 159 females, aged between 5 and 90 years old, and the date of onset/checking date is between May 10 and May 21, 2021; Among the 400 corrected regression cases, there were 185 males and 215 females. The age ranged from under 5 to over 90. The date of onset/checking date ranged from May 7 to May 20. The distribution of the above-mentioned cases is 384 in New Taipei City with the largest number and 103 in Banqiao District.
Followed by 269 cases in Taipei City, 174 cases in Wanhua District, 20 cases in Taoyuan City, 11 cases in Taichung City, 9 cases in Keelung City, 5 cases in Pingtung County, 4 cases each in Changhua County and Kaohsiung City, Yilan County, Hsinchu City, 3 cases each in the city and Hualien County, 2 cases in Hsinchu County, and 1 case each in Tainan City, Miaoli County, Nantou County, and Yunlin County.Among them, 258 cases were related to Wanhua’s activity history, 100 cases were related to tea art houses, 4 cases were related to a certain society, 3 cases were related to a fruit merchant, 80 cases were related to other known sources of infection, 121 cases were unidentified, and 155 cases were affected by the epidemic. Among the new deaths,
case 3097 was a 80-year-old man who was sent to the hospital on the evening of May 19 due to cough, fever, dyspnea, and general fatigue. He died on May 20 and was diagnosed today after examination. The family members said that the case had no history of activities in Wanhua District and no contact with confirmed cases.
Case 3553 is a male in his 70s who has been in contact with a confirmed case. He was listed as home quarantine by the health unit on May 18, and went to the hospital for examination on May 19. The health unit stated that he was

指揮中心表示，今日新增之321例本土病例，為162例男性、159例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日/採檢日介於今(2021)年5月10日至5月21日；校正回歸個案400例中，為185例男性、215例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日/採檢日介於5月7日至5月20日。上述個案分布以新北市384例最多(以板橋區103例為多)，其次為臺北市269例(以萬華區174例為多)，桃園市20例、臺中市11例、基隆市9例、屏東縣5例、彰化縣及高雄市各4例、宜蘭縣、新竹市及花蓮縣各3例、新竹縣2例、臺南市、苗栗縣、南投縣、雲林縣各1例。其中萬華活動史相關258例、茶藝館相關100例、某社團相關4例、某水果商相關3例、其他已知感染源80例、關聯不明121例、疫調中155例。相關疫情調查持續進行中。
