中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本5月18日、台湾耳鼻咽喉科頭頸部外科医学会が、全土の会員に政府が構築した社会スクリーニング検査ステーションに参加し、専門性を発揮してコロナと戦おうと呼びかけ、320人の意志が参加してくれたことに謝意を示した。 本日、学会長の陳穆寬医師、及び新北市医師会会長の周慶明医師が記者会見に招かれ、医学会が感染流行に呼応して共同で戦いに参加することを奨励した。
指揮センターは、医療従事者はエピデミック予防において非常に重要な役割を果たしている。疑い例の通報や個々の治療など、第一線で感染予防活動をしており、医療スタッフは皆高いリスクと高いプレッシャーにさらされている中、多くの医師がハードワークを恐れず、地域スクリーニング検査ステーションに積極的に参加している。これは国内の感染予防活動の促進にとって大いに有益なものだと説明している。
陳穆寬会長は、「厳しい感染状況のもと、感染源不明な本土症例の出現は、一次医療サービスの全体的な能力に徐々に影響を与えるだろうと強調。 政府は、陽性となりうる症例をスクリーニングするために地域スクリーニング検査ステーションを設置する。これにより、疑い例の社会活動を減らし、医療トリアージや分業と協力で、ウイルス感染リスクを低減できる。そのため、耳鼻咽喉科のプロを活用し、台湾の防疫指揮システムに協力し、地域のスクリーニング検査ステーションの活動を全面支援する。感染制御を実施することに現時点で医師320人が参加する用意がある」としている。

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(18)日表示，為感謝台灣耳鼻喉頭頸外科醫學會號召全臺會員，投入政府成立的社區篩檢站，貢獻專業，共同抗疫，目前已有320位醫師願意參與。今天特別邀請該學會理事長陳穆寬醫師及新北市醫師公會理事長周慶明醫師蒞臨記者會，鼓勵醫界一起響應，共同抗疫。
指揮中心說明，醫界在防疫中扮演非常重要的角色，疑似病例通報、個案治療等第一線防疫工作，都讓醫事人員承受高風險及高壓力，今天許多醫師不畏辛勞，主動投入社區篩檢站，對國內防疫工作推動更是一大助益。
陳穆寬理事長強調，在嚴峻疫情考驗下，感染源不明的本土案例出現，會逐漸影響整體基層醫療服務量能；政府成立社區篩檢站，篩檢可能個案，可減少疑似個案社區活動，並達到醫療分流、分工合作，降低病毒傳播風險；因此號召學會會員發揮耳鼻喉科專業，配合國家防疫指揮系統，全力支援社區篩檢站工作，協力控制疫情，目前已有320位醫師願意參與。
