最近、中国疾病予防管理センターがその週報で、2005年～2021年までの我が国における35歳未満の人たちの水痘罹患率に関する調査研究を発表した。研究の結果、2020年を除き、我が国では35歳未満の水痘発症率は常に増加傾向にあることが示された。高齢者の水痘に対する感受性増加に加え、10～14歳と15～19歳の罹患率が大幅に増えているのだ。
