疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（4月30日）、「国内におけるCOVID-19は、先週（4月23日～4月29日）新たに185例（合併症含む）が確認され、前週（4月16日～4月22日）の186例とほぼ同等、合併症のうち65歳以上の高齢者が79％を占めている；更に、先週新たに増えた死者数は15例となり、前週の死者31例と比して下降しており、死者中では65歳以上の高齢者が90％を占めていた；直近の4週間に観測された変異株の総計は、本土症例中から検出されたウイルスではJN.1（97％：1％の増加）が最多で、これにBA.2.86（3％：1％減）が次いでいる；輸入症例中から検出されたウイルスについてはJN.1が（96％：2％の増加）最多であり、これにBA.2.86（4％：増減なし）が次いでいる。現在、台湾での流行は現在落ち着きを見せているが、昨年（2023年）9月26日に新型コロナのXBBワクチンの接種開始以来、本土で確定診断され報告された合併症症例と死亡者の95％以上が新型コロナのXBB対応ワクチンの接種を受けていなかった。本疾患の脅威を軽んじてはならず、ワクチン接種対象者は早急に摂取することが求められている」と発表した。

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(4月30)日表示，國內COVID-19疫情上週(4/23-4/29)新增185例COVID-19本土確定病例(併發症)，與前一週(4/16-4/22)新增186例相當，累積併發症中65歲以上長者占79%；另上週新增15例死亡病例，較前一週新增31例下降，累積死亡個案中65歲以上長者占90%。近四週變異株監測總計，本土檢出病毒株以JN.1 (97%)為多，其次為BA.2.86 (3%)；境外檢出病毒株以JN.1 (96%)為多，其次為BA.2.86 (4%)。目前國內疫情趨緩，惟自去(2023)年9月26日新冠XBB疫苗開打以來，本土通報確診併發症及死亡病例中未曾接種新冠XBB疫苗者均占95%(含)以上，仍不可輕忽疾病威脅，呼籲符合接種資格民眾儘速接種疫苗。
