The Department of Disease Control and Prevention (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) stated today (April 30) that there have been frequent cases of diarrhea clusters in the catering and hotel industry recently, with norovirus being the main pathogen detected. According to monitoring data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there were a total of 112,108 diarrheal outpatient and emergency visits in Taiwan last week (April 21 to 27), a 9% decrease from 123,309 visits the previous week. It has shown a downward trend in the past two weeks and is lower than the same period last year; In addition, a total of 189 cluster notification cases of diarrhea were received across the country in the past four weeks (weeks 14 to 17), which was higher than the same period last year (67 cases). 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(30)日表示，近期餐飲、旅宿業腹瀉群聚事件頻傳，其中檢出病原以諾羅病毒為主。依據疾管署監測資料顯示，國內上週(4月21日至27日)腹瀉門急診就診累計112,108人次，較前一週123,309人次下降9%，近二週呈下降趨勢且低於去年同期；另全國近四週(第14至17週)共接獲189起腹瀉群聚通報案件，高於去年同期(67起)，發生場所以餐飲旅宿業最多，其中病原體檢出陽性案件計103起，以檢出諾羅病毒為主(91件，佔88%)。
