疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(12)日表示，國內COVID-19疫情緩降，上週(3/5-3/11)新增408例COVID-19本土確定病例(併發症)，較前一週(2/27-3/4)新增523例下降22%，併發症中65歲以上長者占79%；另上週新增60例死亡病例，也較前一週新增70例下降，死亡個案中65歲以上長者占90%；另有一名未接種XBB疫苗之幼兒死亡，為新冠併發多重器官衰竭不幸過世。
疾管署說明，去(2023)年9月26日新冠XBB疫苗開打以來，國內新冠XBB疫苗迄今已累計接種203.3萬人次
